Woorlock Kennel - American Akita

We had already been in love with the sledge dogs/huskies, when we turned our attention to the American Akita at a kind acquaintance in 1992.

We fell in love with the breed at first sight, because they have something special in them which completely fascinates humans. This is how Hexa got next to our Malamuts. We found everything in him which embodies the ideal dog for us. His archievements at dog shows encouraged us to become committed enthusiasts of the American Akita. In the beginning we had a lot of difficulties in finding dogs with good breeding quality because of the small number of them. Since we did not find a suitable mate to the ones bred by ourselves in Hungary, we had our dogs covered abroad several times.



In 2002 we managed to import Keeper to Hexa's puppies from England, from the Redwitch kennel, which is known all over the world. Thus, beautiful puppies were born from the blending of American and English races. We got closer to our imagined type.

Piper arrived from the American Torazo kennel in 2004, which embodies the American modern type of dog. Owing to them, the world's leading breeds can be found in our kennel.

We are aiming at finding loving and caring owners to our puppies, whom we are going to help with everything we can in connection with both exhibitions and keeping, in order they could take much pleasure in Woorlock puppy as possible.

A szánhúzó kutyák szerelmesei voltunk, amikor 1992-ben egy kedves ismero~snél felfigyeltünk az Amerikai Akitára.



Elso~ látásra beleszerettünk a fajtába, mert van valami különleges bennük, ami az embert teljesen lenyu^gözi. Így került Malamutjaink mellé HEXA. Benne megtaláltuk mindazt ami számunkra az ideális kutyát testesíti meg. Kiállítási sikerei is ösztönöztek bennünket, hogy elkötelezett hívei legyünk az Amerikai Akitának. Kezdetben sok nehézséget okozott - a kevés létszám miatt - a jó tenyészértéku^ kutyák felkutatása. Mivel saját tenyésztésu^ kutyáinkhoz itthon nem találtunk megfelelo~ párt, ezért többször is külföldön fedeztettünk.



A HEXA kölykeihez 2002-ben sikerült Angliából, a világhíru^ Redwitch Kennelbo~l importálnunk KEEPER-t. Az amerikai és az angol vonalak egyesítésébo~l gyönyöru^ kiskutyák születtek. Közelebb kerültünk az általunk elképzelt típushoz.



2004-ben került hozzánk az amerikai Torazo Kennelbo~l PIPER, aki megtestesíti a modern amerikai típust. Kennelünkben általuk megtalálhatóak a világ vezeto~ tenyészvonalai.

Arra törekszünk, hogy a nálunk született kiskutyáknak szereto~, gondos gazdát találjunk, akiknek mindenben segítséget nyújtunk mind kiállítással, mind tartással kapcsolatban, hogy minél több örömük legyen egy Woorlock kiskutyában.
